Spelling words: jelly, belly, funny, bunny, furry, hurry, take, came, world, over
Sentence: The furry bunny has jelly on his belly.
Sight words: different, old, water, years
Math: Simple word problems, fact families, 1 more, 1 less, 10 more, 10 less continued
Writing: We will continue with persuasion writing – coming up with audiences and arguments.
Social Studies/Science: Black history (black history month is February)
Reading: At Home Around the World, groups with leveled books, and Orton Gillingham drills.
Upcoming Events
Don’t forget, it’s a 4-day weekend coming up. Presidents Day - Woohoo!! Monday through Thursday there is school, but then Friday and the following Monday the children are out.
And thank you so much to them many parents that contributed to the class this week. It has been much appreciated.
